Home Secret Giveaway!

Home Secret have recently opened their flagship store in Kawana, on the Sunshine Coast QLD, with plans underway for stores in other locations. On opening day alone, they had over 25,000 people hunting for home ware treasure! I went a few days later when it wasn't quite so crowded, but still had a buzzy vibe with lots of customers shopping for bargains.


I was amazed at the variety of stock, there really is something for everyone. There where lots of brand names (Jonathon Adler stationary, Yankee Candle Company, Scanpan) and some great quality items at very discounted prices. Home Secret advertise 60% off RRP and I believe them.



The store is large, and situated right next door to Trade Secret, for your convenience. The store is also bright, clean and well staffed, making it a very pleasant shopping experience all round.


I had planned on buying some cushions, but stupidly sought the opinions of Mr BC and the Monkeys, who apparently all have very strong opinions on cushions, that are not aligned with my own. In the end I annoyed everyone and bought the cushions I wanted, or 'eyes of the lounge room' as The Gentleman calls them. Whatever.

I almost bought a beautiful rug, and ended up with a gorgeous fish platter, and maybe some pillows and a super thick bathmat. And some baskets. Actually I can't wait to go back (sans family) and buy a whole lot more.



A few of these red stools, for starters. I don't know how I left the store without some of those blue and white plates..There really is a big variety of stock, and it changes every day. So even if those stools are all gone there are sure to be (a couple of hundred) other things I will love.
