Uncovering the Brisbane Look

One of the great things about the city of Brisbane is that in recent years, it has lost it's cultural cringe, and is starting to embrace the fresh, young vibe that encompasses it's beauty. Everywhere you look it seems, Brisbane is becoming comfortable in it's own skin, and proud of showing off it's talent. This is nowhere more evident than in the world of fashion. Yes, I know you are shocked, I am talking about fashion! Me! Except I'm not, I'm talking about culture; art; the very essence of the town I call home. There are lots of world class designers in Brisbane, that are not just brilliant at designing wonderful attire, they are doing it in fabulous Brisbane style.

Directed by award winning film maker Hailey Bartholomew (365Grateful) and produced by former Vogue Editor and best selling author Kirstie Clements, Uncovering The Brisbane Look is a documentary that explores just how far Brisbane Fashion has come and just how well it lives in the spotlight today. Contributors from fashion heavyweights such as Lydia Pearson (Easton Pearson) Heidi Middleton (Sass & Bide), Nicky and Simone Zimmermann, as well as many others ensure this is a must see for anyone interested in the point where fashion, art and Brisbane intersect.

The public launch of Uncovering the Brisbane Look will take place on Monday 3rd March, at the Cinema Lounge, Queens Plaza Shopping Centre, Queen Street Mall, Brisbane.

Customers at Queens Plaza will also be invited to book in as part of a shopping tour with one of Brisbane's expert stylists to uncover the Brisbane look for Autumn Winter 2014. Bookings can be made at www.queensplazashopping.com.au
