Last weekend, Mr BC took both monkey boys and one ring in monkey to see Planes, and the feedback was great. Sadly I was off playing at Problogger (Mwahahaha) so was unable to attend, but I think having young children review a movie aimed at young children is kind of genius, so props to me for excellent delegating.
Did you like the movie, Planes?
Monkey Boy: YES!
The Gentleman: Yes, it was awesome! I feel like watching it again.
What was your favourite part?
Monkey Boy: The happy ending, definitely. Also my other favourite part was when the crop duster span around and missed getting hit by the green plane. Very cool.
The Gentleman: It had sad parts but mostly it was hilarious. I like the British accents and the awesome graphics. The water and air graphics where really good, better graphics than Cars.
Tell me a bit about the story.
Monkey Boy: It was about planes racing, it was like cars. They had fun and adventures, there where lots of funny planes.
The Gentleman: It was about planes racing. I think the story was about no matter who you are, you can still do something, it's who you are on the inside that matters. Everyone laughed because he was a crop duster, but he came first!
Planes opened yesterday in Australia,
just in time for school holidays!

"From above the world of
"Cars" comes "Disney's Planes" an action-packed 3D animated
comedy adventure featuring Dusty (voice of Dane Cook), a plane with dreams of
competing as a high-flying air racer. But Dusty's not exactly built for
racing—and he happens to be afraid of heights. So he turns to a seasoned naval aviator
who helps Dusty qualify to take the defending champ of the race circuit.
Dusty's courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he
never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar.
"Disney's Planes" takes off in cinemas on September 19!"
