I've blogged before about having a family gallery wall, so that my children don't lose sight of their extended family, even though we live in a different state. Recently I added another dozen frames, and I only need about a dozen more to have the whole family included! So if any of my aunties or cousins are reading this and can't see yourself - don't feel left out, you will be there soon. x
Some of the photos have been lifted from face book or instagram so the photo quality isn't wonderful, but the whole point of this wall is to show individuals as they really are, so picture quality isn't the most important thing.
Some of the photos need to be updated. My niece and nephew are no longer babes in arms!
There are a few fiances that I don't know that well, but they are about to marry into my family, and therefor they are family. I will get to know them soon enough, I hope.
I've tried to keep family groups together, and I have purposefully left photos of the little people at the bottom, so my children can gaze at their first, second and third cousins more often.
I updated the photo of teenage daughter from moody coffee shop to post parachute jump elation. It's my favourite photo of her.
Do you have lots of family pictures around? Do you you organize them in a specific way?
xx
