Pinterest is my crack, yo. There is something so utterly soothing about clicking away, pinning your one true self into neatly organised boards. No fuss or drama. No fighting children. No house flooding in the rain. No mountain of laundry to demolish. No soul destroying daily grind getting you down, just click, click, clickety click, drink the Pinterest cool-aid & zen the hell out.
Breath in, & exha-a-a-a-a-le.
In Pinterestland, my house looks like this. Well, one of them.
My kitchen looks like this. Calm, clean, spacious & serene.
Inside, the decor is both traditional & unexpectedly colourful.
Go HOME, neighbourhood boy!
I have lots of furniture like this.
I sometimes go on holiday to places like this.
But my favourite getaway is my own garden, which always looks like this.
I also have a Vardo in my garden, it's my grown up cubby.
Shut up! You totally want to come in.
My wardrobe is FILLED with amazing outfits like this & I always look super stylish.
I have the perfect shoes with which to rule the world. I have a lot, actually...
I seem to eat a lot of delicious Tex Mex food. Not complaining!
And, you know, I appreciate the arts.
So it's a bit of a rude shock to lift my head & wait for that Pinteresting glaze to leave my eyes, & survey what the house of chaos really looks like.
Holy Shit balls! Where is the gardener? Did someone fire him & not tell me??
Monsoon season comes to Brisbane, again.
Wait a minute, that isn't seafood OR Tex Mex. Waiter!?
Go HOME, neighbourhood children! Oh, wait..
Not Majorca, but a good place to call home.
Even if it's not in Pinterestland.
If you would like to
